My love for wordless poetry began.
Bringing peace into focus. There is nothing else quite like the comfort of slowing down amid a fast world and getting lost in the beauty of form. My sincere hope is to pour into your heart + moments some of the peace and joy that I find in creating.
I have a tender spot for figures and florals (an obsession with water lilies), wildlife, patterns of light, adventuring outside with my pastels, cultivating with my hands.
I am inspired by little things, the smallest details, textures in nature, play of light. There is so much beauty around us, above and below, if we look.
Over the past 13 years
I've built my professional
art business around both my sons' nap-times, homeschool schedule, blending home + heart together. My boys are the greatest joys of my life.
I've had the privilege of being featured in publications,
including The Pastel Journal.
When I'm not in the studio, I'm living an adventurous yet peace-filled life with my husband + best friend, William, our two beautiful, brave boys and friends like family, in Loudoun County, Virginia.
