It began 23 years ago,
My love for wordless story-telling.
And bringing peace forwards. Life can be so chaotic. But there is nothing quite like the balm of slowing down and getting lost in the dreamy beauty of nature. Through my work, I hope to encourage + uplift you and pour, with a heavy hand, peace and calm into your sweet moments.
I have a tender spot for botanicals (obsession with water lilies) + all wildlife, getting my hands dirty in our garden almost as much as in the pastel dust in my studio.
I am inspired by the little things, the smallest details, textures in nature, the poetry and play of light. There is so much beauty around us, above and below, if we look.
Over the past 11 years
I've built my professional
art career around both my sons' nap-times, seemlessly blending home + heart. My boys are the greatest joys of my heart.
I've had the privilege of being featured in publications,
including The Pastel Journal.
When I'm not in the studio, I'm living an adventurous yet peace-filled life with my husband + best friend, William, our two beautiful, brave boys and friends like family, in Loudoun County, Virginia.
